1. ACCEPTANCE

By creating an account on TrainTribe, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the service. These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.

2. WHAT TRAINTRIBE IS

TrainTribe is a platform that helps people in Southampton find training partners for sports including strength training, running, and Hyrox. We provide the tools to connect — we are not responsible for what happens when you meet in person. Always use your own judgement when meeting someone new.

3. YOUR ACCOUNT

  • —You must be at least 18 years old to use TrainTribe.
  • —You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure.
  • —You must provide accurate information when creating your profile.
  • —You may only create one account.

4. ACCEPTABLE USE

You agree not to:

  • —Harass, threaten, or abuse other users
  • —Post false, misleading, or inappropriate content
  • —Use the platform for any commercial purpose without our permission
  • —Attempt to access other users' accounts or data
  • —Use automated tools (bots, scrapers) to interact with the platform

We reserve the right to suspend or delete any account that violates these rules, without notice.

5. YOUR CONTENT

You own the content you post (profile info, messages, photos). By posting it, you grant TrainTribe a non-exclusive licence to display it to other users of the platform. We will never sell your content.

6. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

TrainTribe is provided "as is". We make no guarantees about uptime, the suitability of any training partner you find, or outcomes from in-person meetings. To the maximum extent permitted by law, TrainTribe is not liable for any damages arising from your use of the service or from meeting other users.

7. ACCOUNT DELETION

You can request deletion of your account at any time by emailing sqc1u22@soton.ac.uk. We will remove your account and personal data within 30 days.

8. CHANGES TO THESE TERMS

We may update these terms from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes via an in-app announcement. Continued use of TrainTribe after changes means you accept the updated terms.
